My work is inspired by the landscape and weather around my home in a village in Wales. I paint on canvas and paper my work is poetic and full of colour both bright and muted, texture and feeling.
I draw, paint or print using a mix of materials and techniques,working on canvas or paper. I am interested in creating atmosphere in acrylics, which suggest poetic landscape images.
I have an Hons degree in Fine Art/Painting and a PGCE in Art and Design.
Since 1996 I have had MS and am breaking my boundaries with bursts of colour.
Presently I am exhibiting 'Different Horizons' with North Wales 6 at Castle Park Arts Centre,Frodsham and working towards a solo exhibition at Galeri, Caernarfon.
I have work in collections throughout the UK and France.
I exhibit in galleries around the UK.
